Humans of BV: Bryce Merry

At the beginning of the school year, senior Bryce Merry made the decision to do online school while also staying involved in BV’s extracurricular activities.

“With all the issues with COVID, doing BV would be a hassle,” Merry said. “Especially [because] the CAPS program I wanted to take was getting cut completely.”

The workload of online school was about the same, but there were a limited amount of classes he could take.

“I decided to take an easier course load, which is still pretty challenging, but there are fewer classes I can take,” Merry said.

Bryce enrolled in BV this semester and feels as though he still hasn’t missed much, due to COVID.

“I don’t feel like I’m really missing out much because right now everything’s just through zoom meetings anyway,” Merry said.
