Over quarantine, freshman Chanie Rankin noticed that isolation brought mental health issues to many of her friends.
“I realized that a lot of people were struggling,” she said. “They were getting bored and lost touch taking care of themselves.”
In response, Rankin decided to create a quarantine bucket-list full of things she and her friends could try. She then shared photos of the activities through a group Snapchat story.
“It was really fun to see everything they were doing to make the most of their time,” Rankin said.
Aside from trying new things, Rankin is grateful that the bucket list brought her friends closer together.
“It was a good connecting moment,” Rankin said. “I learned a lot about my friends that I didn’t know before.”
