In 1908, television wasn’t even created along with the ratification of the 19th amendment — women’s voting rights. This is a whole centuries worth of events leading up to the Chicago Cubs second win in the World Series.

They are one of the two major baseball teams in Chicago, Illinois.

In the 2016 World Series, the Cubs beat the Cleveland Indians four games out of seven, winning the second, fifth, sixth and seventh games.

The MLB said a 17-minute delay followed the ninth inning, then Ben Zobrist smacked a tiebreaking RBI double in a two-run 10th that lifted the Cubs to an 8-7 victory over the Indians on Wednesday night in Game seven.

A large portion of the United States were rooting for the Cubs.

Being one of the most beloved baseball teams in the country, a lot of people were excited for the “Cubbies” to win.

When the Kansas City Royals won the 2015 World Series after 30 years of waiting, baseball lovers are starting to wonder what will happen next.

What team will be winning the 2017 World Series?

It seems to be exciting fans that their favorite underdog teams could very well be the next World Series Champions.
