Love Culture, a new store at the One Nineteen shopping center at 119th Street and Nall Avenue, is filled with clothes. It is overwhelming. When I walk into the store, I don’t know where to start looking. It reminds me of Forever XXI, but without the different sections. It’s the same huge store with more clothes than you can imagine.
The style of the clothes is very modern and trendy, similar to Wet Seal. Sadly, that is all that is there. The style is the same throughout the entire store. It would’ve been nice to see some variety of styles – It seemed like everything had some sort of print on it. There wasn’t anything plain or low-key, so whatever you wear from Love Culture will definitely be a fashion statement.
The shoe selection was incredible. They have so many different options of wedges and high heels and boots in about every color imaginable, which is perfect for homecoming shoe shopping. I think every shoe had a 3 inch heel.
The best part about Love Culture is that it’s not crazy expensive. Like Forever XXI, it’s totally affordable, with a normal top ranging from $10 to $30. The Store’s highly specific style of clothes can be a disadvantage, but for some people, it’s perfect.
