“‘Do your best and be kind.’ If you do both of those things, then no one can fault you for anything.”
What’s one thing you would tell your high school self that you know now?

What is your motto in life?
“I’m not sure I have a motto. I just try to be a positive person. I really like the quote by John Wooden, ‘If we magnified our blessings the way we magnify our disappointments, we’d all be a lot happier.’”
What’s one thing you would tell your high school self that you know now?
“Listen more to my parents and adults when they gave me advice. A lot of things could have been easier if I had followed some advice from people in my life. I would also tell myself to find things I enjoy and put forth my greatest effort pursuing those things.”
Azie Taghizadeh
What is something most students wouldn’t know about you?
“That I can speak another language fluently — Farsi, the traditional Iranian language [which is] where I’m from.”
What is your motto in life?
“I really believe you have to give your all, so you can live with no regrets. So as long as you can give your best at the things that you do, you can’t look back and wonder, ‘What if?’”
What’s one thing you would tell your high school self that you know now?
“Maybe to try a little bit harder — to make sure that you realize in the end it all will work out, and you don’t have to stress as much.”
