2. Johnson County Fair

The Johnson County Fair is overall a free fair except the carnival and nightly arena events. The fair has ferris wheels, carnival games, contests, farm animals, plenty of prizes to win, and great food and entertainment. This is a great place to take the whole family or go with some friends, and celebrate your community.

3. Blacklight Slide

The Blacklight Slide is a night event all glow in the dark themed. You get to go down slides with glow in the dark water and listen to some of the top DJs in the country. Wear a white shirt or swimsuit for this fun night of dancing and playing in the neon lights.

4. Theatre in the Park

Theatre in the Park is known for putting on amazing live musicals in the park that anyone can attend. It’s the perfect place to spend your summer evenings with friends or family. Buy a ticket, bring a blanket, buy some food at the concessions and enjoy the show.

5. Color Run

The Color Run is called the happiest 5k on earth for a reason. This paint race celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality. Every kilometer you walk or run, you will be covered with a different color paint from head to toe. After you complete the race, head near the stage to enjoy some good music and more paint fun.
