As 2018 comes to an end, it is time to take a look back at the best movies of 2018. 2018 was quite a year for movies and set some records for new movies in categories such as “Best Superhero Movie with and African-American Lead” or “Second best opening night for a Horror Movie”.  Production companies across the nation pulled out the big guns this year and really made all the efforts to give the nation some of the best movies of all time.

The best movies of 2018 range from horror, to rom-com, to adventure, and even drama. According to sights such as www.rottontomatos.com, 2018 has been one of the best years for movies in cinematic history. Some of the best movies of the year include…

-Black Panther (2018- sci-fi)

-Crazy Rich Asians (2018- Romance)

-Oceans 8 (2018-crime)

-The Incredibles 2 (2018- Animation)

-The Quiet Place (2018- Horror)

Now, these are just some out of the large list of movies that broke records this year. 2018 really showed the cinematic audience a new view on incorporating different social aspects into our movies. For example, Black Panther was one of the best movies with an African-American lead. Incorporating different social issues and aspects really shaped our movie-viewing experience and how we view our society. Not only have the movies of 2018 made the worlds cinematic experience better, but it has helped our society expand our view on many controversial aspects and make them more acceptable in our society. 2018 really has been one of the most outstanding years for movie making, and hopefully, 2019 can live up to that.
