1) Blobfish — This unattractive fish is, unfortunately, commonly used as the face of ugly animals. In fact, it was voted the World’s Ugliest Animal at an official 2013 competition by the Ugly Animal Preservation Society. It’s slimy and overall “blob” like appearance makes it displeasing to imagine swimming in the water next to you. Lucky for us, these fish are only found at ocean depths deeper than 2,000 feet.
