Studying For the 5
Students share how they are preparing for advanced placement tests
As May continues, students are preparing and taking their advanced placement (AP) tests. AP tests start on Monday May 1st and go through Friday May 12th. Students spend hours preparing for these tests and results will come out about two months after. Everyone studies differently for every test.

What are you doing to prepare: “I’ve just been doing the review material in AP classroom”
What score do you hope for: “I’m hoping to get a 5 due to getting a 5 on the practice test”

What test are you taking: AP Human Geography
What are you doing to prepare: “I’m doing a few study groups with friends and review the units on AP classroom”
What score do you hope for: “A 5 of course”

What test are you taking: AP Physics 1
What are you doing to prepare: “I am reviewing the review tests in AP classroom and going through old notes.”
What score do you hope for: “I’m hoping for a 4 because it’s a reasonable score that’s also good”
Jahnavi Parasker (Junior)
What test are you taking: AP US History, AP Language, Ap Physics
What are you doing to prepare: “For APUSH I’m watching Heimler’s history. For AP lang I’m just doing the practice tests and for AP physics I’m going to hope I do well.”
What score do you hope for: “Apush a 5, AP language 5, and AP physics a 3 if I’m lucky”

What are you doing to prepare: “I’m filling out the review packet that our teacher gave us. I’m also going to the study sessions as well as going through all our old assignments and remember or connections”
What score do you hope for: “I’m hoping for at least a 4”

What are you doing to prepare: “I use everything my teachers put on canvas, like practice tests and quizlets”
What score do you hope for: “I’m aiming for a 4 on both of them”
