I am a knight of the King, presenting the Kansas City Renaissance Festival on His behalf. His royal Highness has found a few select students belonging to the kingdom of “Blue Valley High School,” whom he has entrusted with the duty of spreading this message.

Jousting

“My favorite [event] would have to be the jousting, because it’s these two dudes who are dressed in full regalia, like full body armor on two ponies. They have actual jousting swords, and they run toward each other on the ponies — 10 minutes later, when one of them falls, they get off [the horses], crack open a Dr. Pepper, get a cheeseburger and the whole crowd is watching this like ‘what just happened?’” -Ramsey Browne, 11

Turkey Legs 

“[Get] the turkey leg. It is huge. It is gross. And it is the best thing I’ve had in my entire life. I’m not a big meat fan, but I saw that thing, and I ate it to the bone — I was standing there in my little cutesy fairy fit just holding a bone essentially.” -Browne
