Spring Show wraps up the year
Senior looks forward to final choir performance
BV’s senior choir participants are preparing to wrap up their final year in show choir at the spring show this weekend. If you’d like to attend the spring show, they are performing on May 9 and 11 at 7:30. You can purchase tickets for eight dollars at the door.
Senior Maddi Sanchez said that she looks forward to performing this weekend.
“I’m looking forward to singing my solo and being able to perform with chambers one last time before I leave,” Sanchez said.
Spring show typically features musical performances, dancing numbers, and solo performances.
“Seeing the big group numbers for each choir class and the music groups that the kids are involved in [are the biggest parts of spring show,]” Sanchez said.
Many people who are not part of choir are also looking forward to seeing their friends perform at spring show.
Senior Lauren Reddin said that she was attending to see Sanchez’s solo performance.
“I’m looking forward to seeing all of my friend’s solos and seeing the men’s hip-hop number,” Reddin said.
Reddin said that seeing spring show will be a good way to wrap up her senior year.
“I like to watch all of the hard work of the choir department come to fruition,” Reddin said.
