Humans of BV: Jacquelyn Ramirez
With fall sports taking action, someone needs to lead the school. Freshman Jacquelyn Ramirez is the freshman cheer captain this year. Ramirez is not only a competitive cheerleader but one for the school, too.
“I wanted to do high school cheer so I could cheer on the school and have fun,” Ramirez said.
Ramirez ran for captain because she felt like she was a good leader since there were only a few girls on her team.
“I was really excited when I found out I would be captain because I’m friends with everyone and I can help anyone that needs it,” Ramirez said.
Ramirez likes practicing with the team and she can’t wait for what the future holds.
“I’m really excited for football season and cheering on the school,” Ramirez said.
