This year, Senior Valerie Lu decided to take two online courses,  AP Calculus and AP Literature. With no Zoom classes this year, these college-level courses are even harder without a live teacher. 

“[I don’t like] not being able to communicate with teachers,” Lu said. “I wish Blue Valley would make online classes less boring and more interactive.” 

These courses are scheduled similar to normal classes and some are scheduled in the middle of the day. For Lu, it’s impossible to leave school for this time due to the lack of transportation. 

“I don’t go home during my classes,” Lu said. “I do nothing and walk around the school.”
