The Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) attended a Take Aim conference last weekend to learn about club opportunities.
FCCLA sponser Donna DeHart took the officers of the club to the leadership conference.
DeHart said the purpose of Take Aim is to get FCCLA clubs’ officers across the nation prepared to lead their club for the coming years.
“Unless I get all new officers, I won’t go next year,” DeHart said. “It’s really a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing.”
Co-president, junior Hannah Skidmore said they learned about the purpose of FCCLA and how they can lead conferences throughout the year.
DeHart plans to bring FCCLA members to a Fall Leadership Retreat on Sept. 9.
