BV defeated rival Blue Valley West Tuesday night 42 – 38 in the Tigers first road contest of the season. BV advanced to 3-1 on the season.
The Jaguars lead 24 – 19 at the half, but the BV outscored BV West 10 – 2 in the third quarter to head into the fourth quarter with a slim three point lead.
BV closed out the Jaguars by converting on 17 of 24 from the line to just 4 of 9 free-throw shooting for the Jaguars to win 42 – 38.
Seniors Hayden Murray and Steven Stinson led the Tigers with 10 points apiece.
