Results from the Pre-SAT (PSAT) taken earlier this year arrived this week. Counselor Deb Atkinson said while these scores are a strong predictor of how a student will do on the actual SAT exam.
“The number indicates whether or not you would qualify to be a National Merit Scholar,” she said. “It’s not the actual score, but it’s still useful.”
The test results for the PSAT will be returned to students on Jan. 11 during Tiger Time, along with scores for the PLAN. Atkinson said counselors will then explain and interpret the test for students.
