The boys swim and dive team defeated St. James Academy, St. Thomas Aquinas and Bishop Miege yesterday at the Tigers’ home meet.
Seniors Adam Chinery, Cameron Gallet and Matt Olsen, juniors Austin Averkamp, Alex Hoskovec and Toby Harrison and sophomores Chris Hearl and Nick Sobsczynski were all first place finishers.
Sophomore Corey Luetjen qualified for State in diving and sophomore Spencer Underwood qualified for the 500 freestyle.
“I’m really excited to represent our school,” Luetjen said. “It’s going to be good competition.”
The Tiger swim and dive team’s next competition is next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4 and 5, at BVNW for the EKL Championships.
