Students from Blue Valley, Blue Valley Southwest and Blue Valley West met in the BVW gym in order to remember those who lost the battle with cancer, celebrate the survivors and have fun while doing so. Each school had several teams who raised money for cancer. Participants that raised $25 dollars were allowed to stay until midnight while the participants that raised more than $100 were allowed to stay all night. Activities included a luminaria ceremony, numerous speakers that had survived cancer spoke to the particpants and many more fun activities. Participants raised approximately $64,ooo for cancer research.
