During a fifth hour block on a Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. Siam’s Chemistry class set out to make ice cream using ice, rock salt, and milk in a bag. The students put milk in a bag and shook it around to get the milk moving and then would put it in a bag containing rock salt and ice so the mixture was very cold and would thus cause the milk to freeze making ice cream.
