StuCo elections approaching

Student Council elections for class officers and representatives are approaching fast. Petitions, which can be found in the front office, should be turned in by candidates before 3 p.m., Thurs. May 12. Afterwards, candidates will have about a week to campaign for office, mostly via posters since there will be no speeches made by students running. Voting will be next Thursday May 19.
Student Council Sponsor Mark Mosier said that although Student Council hopes to move towards computer-based voting next school year, he still hopes students will still vote.
“We hope to get as much [student input] as we can,” Mosier said.
