Blue Valley School District will be holding its annual Multicultural Festival from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m on Thursday October 4 at BV North.
Senior Gaby Lobo plans to attend the event.
“I’m going because I’m really interested in other cultures,” she said. “My family is a bit multicultural with my dad being from India and my mom from Canada. My mom has always encourage us to learn about other cultures because she works with international students.”
If you plan to attend, you and your parents are encouraged to wear your cultural clothes.
Lobo says she is excited for the event and the opportunities it offers.
“I’m interested in experiencing new cultures and seeing some of the diversity in the Blue Valley community,” she said.
Gaby is interested to find out the events for the night.
“I know there will be food and, I think, performances,” she said.
Parking and entrance will be on the West side of BV North.
