Earlier this month Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced they had tied the knot on their relationship.
The small wedding was at a chapel in France, involving their six children and only witnessed by 20 friends and family members. The public wasn’t informed of it until recently.
“Them being celebrities, I think it was a good idea,” freshman Hayley McCune said. “Knowing [that] they’re a pretty popular couple, I thought it was the best for them because marriage is a big thing.”
They made sure that their children were heavily involved in the service. Jolie had her wedding dress covered in her kids’ drawings.
“I thought that the drawings on [the dress] were kind of weird,” freshman Lily Ehler said. “I would have just liked a plain wedding dress — just white like a normal one.”
Jolie’s engagement ring was an estimated $500,000, and it took Pitt an entire year to design. They showed the public the ring early 2013.
“[The ring] was really unique,” McCune said.
The wedding was kept pretty quiet, but the celebrities haven’t hidden much about their honeymoon located on the island Malta in the Mediterranean Sea. They also took their kids with them, having lots of family bonding time.
“I think it was a good wedding,” McCune said. “I think it was unique, and it really made the whole family involved.”
