Twitter commotion between Kanye West and Drake
Kanye West attacks Drake in string of tweets
2018 has been an interesting year for Kanye West. He’s dabbled in politics, technological advances and philosophical questions on top of his music career.
However, this past weekend made it clear that his drama with other musical artists is not gone.
West began his twitter rant by saying “This proves sh*t faker than wrestling,” with a screenshot of an Imessage reading, “Drake sent in a clearance request for “Say What’s Real”. Do you wanna clear?”
The rant went on, with West eventually tweeting that “Drake finally called.”
For some fans of West, the drama seemed to have been resolved, until West returned to twitter to voice the rest of his frustrations.
“So drake if anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect So cut the tough talk,” West tweeted.
West also alleged that Drake’s actions were getting people hurt.
“You get people hurt at concerts,” West tweeted.
West ended his rant by tweeting (multiple times) that he wanted to prove to everyone that he and Drake could sit down and talk “without someone ending up dead or in jail.”
West also questioned as to why Drake was texting Kris Jenner instead of West himself.
Drake seemed to respond on his instagram story that same night, but it’s unclear whether or not the laughing emojis he posted were in direct reference to West’s string of tweets.
Ariana Grande also got herself wrapped up in the twitter beef by promoting her music, tweeting that she “[knows] two grown men are fighting on the internet right now,” but everyone should grow up and listen to Miley Cyrus’ and her own music that had just been released.
Kanye responded by voicing his frustration with Grande, but officially finished his twitter rant by saying that he “Met with Trav at [his] crib this morning.”
