Over the summer, former Spanish teacher Kathryn Sanflé lost her battle against breast cancer. After being diagnosed in 2018, she continued to teach up until January 2022, when her cancer continued to spread.

Sanflé was a role model to many and impacted students, staff and parents inside and outside the Blue Valley Community.
