While change can have negative connotations or foreshadow disaster, in the beloved BV Tigers Inc. Cafe, change is only a means for future improvement and accomplishments.
In hopes to freshen up the store, Tigers Inc. Cafe shifted from Parisi Coffee to the Roasterie this school year. Coffee Line manager and Junior Maeve McIlnay gives a sneak peak into the changes.
“We are bringing a new brand and ideas into our business in attempts to continue growing Tiger Inc,” she said.
McIlnay reaps the benefits of this switch saying, “it is going to positively affect the shop, leaving students and teachers more impressed [by] the quality of coffee being served.”
By bringing in the Roasterie, Tigers Inc. Cafe staff will be able work closer to the brand allowing them to learn and gain experiences with other companies. Among many, one major modification students might notice is the novel items the brand will bring.
“We are introducing a new way of making the coffee and switching up the flavor, for a new variety,” McIlnay said.
As she steps into this leadership role, McIlnay awaits the connections with other managers and staff.
“I am excited to teach my new line members what I learned last year,” she said. “I’m excited to be involved in Blue Valley in such a unique way.”
