Teenagers Taking on too Much

As a teenager in today’s society, I can fully understand the daily struggle of time management and stress.
While juggling school, sports, clubs, and a job, students can easily become overwhelmed. It is nearly impossible to find a day off and put life back into perspective.
Not only do these never-ending responsibilities take a toll on our time, but it also impacts our mental health.
According to teenmentalhealth.org, 1 in 5 people from the ages 13-17 suffer from a mental illness, proving that our busy generation is becoming saturated in mental health issues and rising depression rates.
As a result, it is necessary for teens to take a step back from their time consumptions and focus on what makes them feel loved and happy — not over consumed and restless.
