Have you ever been in a hall with a ‘bad’ bathroom, so you’ve walked to another hall to use a different one? Including myself, it is notorious for BV students to dread the bathroom experience or avoid using it.
All the bathrooms should be clean and we as students shouldn’t have to walk and waste class time to find a clean bathroom that doesn’t smell gross. In addition, the passing period isn’t long enough to use and find a bathroom before class begins because of the line of people waiting to use the only clean bathroom.
Just to name a few are 400 and 200, it’s not that the toilets themselves aren’t clean, it’s the sticky floors and build-up, the smell, and the dark lighting. Some of the bathroom doors are unable to close because they are falling off. The crust on the floor is just the icing on the cake, there are sticky spots where your feet stick while washing your hands and brown build-up around toilets.
The last thing that I don’t like is the smell, it smells like sewage which may not be a fixable thing but it still makes my head hurt! Using the bathrooms shouldn’t be a dread and in my opinion, they should take better care of them even if that means cleaning them really well once a month.
In conclusion, it may not be at the top of the school’s list of things to do but, some of the bathrooms are just a dread to use, and students including myself shouldn’t have to feel that way.
