On Friday, Aug. 16, the new freshman students and their Tiger Mentors participated in Freshman Class Day. Activities included signing their names on the “Making your Mark” wall, watching performing arts students, including Chambers and Fifth Wall, and going through rotations to learn about transcripts, community service, etc. During lunch, all of the students and faculty went out to the football field to enjoy pizza and music from Mix 93.3, watch the band, cheerleaders and drill team perform, compete in several class competitions and listen to Principal Scott Bacon. In the afternoon, all the students went back to class while the freshman and their Tiger Mentors headed into the gym for the Freshman Frenzy. Each Tiger Time group competed against each other in various games and relay races, with Britt Qualls‘ Tiger Time finishing in first place.
