The wrestling team competed for the first time this past weekend against Gardner-Edgerton.
“It didn’t go too well,” wrestling coach Jason Peres said. “However, we still didn’t have the football guys with us. This week will be their first week practicing, and we’ll probably have a full line-up for the Johnson County Classic right after finals.”
The wrestling team’s next tournament is at Eudora High School on Dec. 11. The Johnson County Classic, a 23-team tournament, will take place at Blue Valley on Dec. 17 and 18.
