The Tigers went up early with a throw from senior Kyle Zimmerman to junior Andrew Reinkemeyer with 4:40 left in the first quarter. BV started their lead 7-0.
With 8:52 left in the first half, Zimmerman made a strong 9-yard run to the 2-yard line. Zimmerman then ran the ball in with a diving touchdown, making the score 14-0.
Three flags were called on the Tigers, getting the Trailblazers to the 12-yard line. This resulted in a touchdown for Gardner. Missing the extra point, the score was 14-6.
35-yard throw downfield to senior Sean Skaggs. A few plays later, Zimmerman ran the ball into the corner for a touchdown.
The second quarter ended with a score of 20-6.
Two minutes into the third quarter, senior Justin Fulks made a 60-yard run downfield and was taken down just inside the 5-yard line. Zimmerman then ran the ball in for a Tiger touchdown, making the score 27-6.
With 1:33 left in the third quarter, Zimmerman threw a touchdown pass to sophomore Tristan Perkins. The scoreboard read 34-6.
With 8:02 left in the game, senior Chris Foster recovered a fumble at the 20-yard line and ran it in for a touchdown, extending their lead to the final score of 40-6.
