Prom will take place Saturday, March 31 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Overland Park Ritz-Charles. Students need their ticket and student ID to get in. Royalty crowning is at 10:30 p.m.
The last day to buy Prom tickets in advance was Monday, March 26 during lunch. Tickets will be available at the door for $35, including seniors.
After the dance, all juniors, seniors and their dates are invited to After Prom at Blue Valley High School, which lasts from midnight until 3:30 a.m. Students do not have to attend Prom to go to After Prom and admission is free. Students who arrive by 12:30 will receive extra prize tickets. There will be food, drinks, games and prize drawings. The theme for After Prom is “Western Hoedown.”The Prom Committee officially announced the Prom Royalty nominations on Monday, March 26.
