Johnson County Classic Wrestling Tournament
On Dec. 14 and 15, Varsity wrestling teams from across the metro competed at the Johnson County Classic. The tournament took place at Blue Valley and has for the last 25 years. Blue Valley took third place out of the 20 teams competing. Senior Mitchell Bartsch came in first in the 182 weight class. Other notable performances by the BV Wrestling team included senior Wesley Damron, junior Trevor Lister and sophomore Luke Hyland.
