On May 16 the varsity track team attended regionals. This year, the meet was at the Olathe District Activities Center, and started at 3 and ended around 10, depending on the event the student took place in.

Each of the Blue Valley schools, including Southwest, West, North, Northwest, and High were present and also Olathe East, North, Northwest, West, and South.

The girls varsity track team won many events. Although many are preparing for State, there are also many on the Varsity girls track team who are moving on to track at the collegiate level, which will involve a strict summer training regime.

If students are interested in joining the track team next year for the 2020 season, tryouts will take place next spring.
